Team Lampre-Merida has announced Chris Horner will not take part in the Vuelta a Espana 2014 because his cortisol levels are too low following bronchitis treatment.

Lance Armstrong's longtime coach and sports director, Johan Bruyneel, was banned for 10 years earlier today for helping to organize massive doping on teams led by the disgraced cyclist.
