Team Europcar's Thomas Voeckler collided with a car in his first training ride after arriving in Australia for the 2014 Tour Down Under.

Thomas Voeckler (Europcar) has won Stage 6 of the Dauphine Libere. He won in his trademark fashion, from a breakaway. The French veteran jumped into a four-man break and then took a four-up sprint to win the hilly, 143-km run from La Lechere-les-Bains to Grenoble in 3:24:13.

David Veilleux (Europcar) has won Stage 1 of the Dauphine Libere. The Canadian animated a daylong break and then surged away from it to win the hilly, 121-km ride in and around Champery, Switzerland in 3:17:35. Gianni Meersman (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) took second at 1:56, and Tom Slagter (Blanco) finished third 0:01 later.

Damien Gaudin (Europcar) has won the Paris-Nice prologue. Gaudin blazed over the flat, technical, 2.9-km course in Houilles, France in 3:37, pipping Sylvain Chavanel (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) by 0:01 and Lieuwe Westra (Vacansoleil-DCM) by the same margin.

Team Europcar's Damien Gaudin surprisingly takes victory in 2013 Paris-Nice prologue. Omega Pharma-QuickStep's Sylvain Chavanel finishes one second behind, followed by Lieuwe Westra of Team Vacansoleil.
