Team Sky's Ben Swift has been forced to cancel his planned Giro d'Italia participation after sustaining a fractured right shoulder in a training ride crash in Denmark. Swift will now concentrate on making a full recovery, Team Sky reports.

Replacing Swift, Jeremy Hunt will be added to the Team Sky roster for what is the 95th edition of the Giro d'Italia. Hunt has previously competed in all three of cycling's Grand Tours and comes into the squad following a consistent Classics campaign.
