Take a stand against troublesome bike repair. Quit using your trainer as a repair stand or other wobbly devices that give you a sore back. The Pro-Elite fixes all the problems for both you and the bike.

The quick release lever deploys the tri-pod stand which provides a base diameter of 54". Next, flip up the clamp arm and tighten the large tri-knob. This extends the clamp arm perpendicular to the secondary tube. This tube has another quick release that allows for height and rotational adjustment. It can be raised nearly 6 feet high with a load capacity of 85 lbs. (although not recommended, this 160lb writer did chin ups on the stand).

A thoughtful tip from Feedback Sports is to make sure the clamp pads are clean before placing the bike in the stand. The red triangle button on the clamp arm pops open the spring loaded jaws. The bike can be secured on your choice of seat tube, top tube, or seat post. Push the jaws together until they contact the bike tube then use the smaller tri-knob on the front for precision tightening. Take down is as quick. Protect and transport the Pro-Elite in the rugged tote bag. The thick nylon is padded. The full length zippers allow easy insertion and removal of the collapsed stand.

It took less than two minutes for setup and locking in the bike. All clamps and knobs are ergonomic. The quick releases have a tension adjustment to prevent twisting and slipping of the stand tubes. After months of use, I haven't pinched my fingers on anything. In addition, none of my cleaning chemicals have discolored the anodized finish. Not even the stickers have peeled.

I used the Pro-Elite on everything from a 14 pound road bike, loaded touring bike, mountain bike, and a BMX. Short of driving into the stand with my grandfather's Buick, it was rock solid. It allowed me to rotate, swing, pivot, raise, and lower the bikes on all planes without ever removing them. I was able to comfortably access any section of the bike or components without contorting like I was playing a game of Twister. It was the most comfortable time I've ever spent servicing my bikes.

Do yourself and your bike a favor. Don't use swinging hooks from the rafters or your trainer. Quit leaning your bike up against your bench, wall, and furniture. The Pro-Elite stand is the best I've ever used and the price makes it even more worthwhile to get.
