Martin Wins Liege-Bastogne-Liege

Daniel Martin (Garmin-Sharp) has won Liege-Bastogne-Liege. The Irishman surged away from Joaquim Rodriguez (Katusha) to win La Doyenne, a rugged, 261.5-km Monument, in 6:38:07. Rodriguez took second at 0:03, and Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) pipped Carlos Betancur (Ag2r-La Mondiale) for third at 0:09.
