Niki Terpstra took his second consecutive overall Tour of Qatar victory for Team Etixx - Quick-Step, finishing with an advantage of six seconds over Maciej Bodnar of Tinkoff Bank - Saxo Bank and nine seconds over Alexander Kristoff (Katusha Team).

Rojas Wins Stage 1 at Tour of Qatar

The first stage of the Tour of Qatar 2015 was as eventful as expected with wind, crashes, echelons and a surprise winner. As fifty riders powered to the front in the closing meters of the stage, José-Joaquin Rojas proved to be the fastest rider. Team Movistar's Spaniard captured a fine victory ahead of Tom Boonen and Arnaud Démare.

Like two years ago when he captured his first ever professional victory on the Doha Corniche, Arnaud Démare flew to a fantastic sprint victory on the final stage of the 2014 Tour of Qatar. The Frenchman finished ahead of Daniele Bennati and Bernhard Eisel. Niki Terpstra has taken his first overall Tour of Qatar victory finishing ahead of teammate Tom Boonen and Jurgen Roelandts in the general classification.

Finishing second in yesterday's stage, André Greipel got things right today in stage 5 of the 2014 Tour of Qatar. The German sprinter and national champion scored his first ever success in Qatar when he won the sprint across the finish line in Madinat Al Shamal ahead of Aidis Kruopis and Theo Bos.
