Flat tires are a lot like cramps, ingrown toenails, and taxes. They suck, but theyAAAre part of life. While thereAAAs no way to make a flat tire an entirely painless experience, the Lezyne Alloy Drive CO2 Kit makes a pretty solid effort. By removing the most common aggravations of the least aggravating portable tire-inflation system on the planet, Lezyne has successfully dropped flat tires from a six to a three on the one-to-ten pain scale. The first and most obvious annoyance with CO2 inflation is the lack of control that you have over air pressure. ItAAAs either going full-bore or itAAAs off. The Alloy Drive is controlled with an easy-to use trigger that gives you precise control over air pressure so you can achieve the perfect feel without messing around for 15 minutes. The second CO2 annoyance is the super-cold canister that you have to handle. This is especially irritating during winter rides. The Alloy DriveAAAs canister insulates the cartridge so you donAAAt have to deal with the cold anymore. It also adds puncture-protection, so you can comfortably crash on sharp rocks with no fear of explosion. The Lezyne Alloy Drive CO2 Kit is compatible with either Schrader or Presta valve systems and takes threaded 16g CO2 canisters. It is available in High-Polish Silver or anodized High-Polish Red.
