So, possessing the freedom to adjust your position over the front of the bike is essential to maintaining both your overall aerodynamics and comfort. The Zipp Vuka Alumina Clip provides this necessary function with its 22.2mm extension clip diameter, and with its 31.8mm bar clamp diameter. These dimensions are compatible with nearly every reputable base bar and extension, leaving you room to experiment with your bike fit. On the base bar, the Vuka has a 25mm per side extension width. Along the extension bar, the Vuka pad can be positioned 100mm per side, fore and aft, and 50mm per side, laterally. The Vuka also allows adjustment to the pad width and pad stack. So, you have the liberty to adjust every dimension of your position. In fact, there are 42 possible positions available with the pads. For further comfort, Zipp designed the Vuka Clip for angular and rotational adjustments, as well. This characteristic creates the perfect interface with most extensions with upward hand grip bends. So, with an intelligent position, you'll create a natural position for your wrists and hands. You can even position the pads as far back as 12.5mm behind the base bar for the perfect arm extension. As for the composition of the Vuka Clip, Zipp constructed it from a shot-peened aluminum that's both stiff and resistant to fatigue. The pads used are made from EVA foam, and they've also been pre-shaped to perfectly holster your arms. Zipp has also paid close attention to the Clip's aerodynamic profile. Vuka's design hinges on Zipp's compression sleeve for attachment.
