Craft Layer 1 Bike and Sports Bra Review

Finally a bra specifically designed for road biking that delivers! OK, how many times have you put on that sports bra, gotten down into the biking position only to have your cleavage show and passerbyers honk and wave in admiration? Not the intended goal, right? Let's face it; most sports bras are made for runners and other high impact activities.

rudy_project_sterling_helmet_yellow_blue_fluo.jpg Rudy Project Sterling Helmet Review

First impression: It's bright. The Rudy Project Sterling helmet comes in a variety of colors, but there are several models in Rudy Project's "FLUO" line that are very brightly colored (the company's trademark sun glasses have similar options). Mine was green and had matte-type finish, with blue accents. Children of the 80s rejoice.

catlike-whisper-plus-bike-helmet.jpg Catlike Whisper Plus Helmet Review

The Catlike Whisper Plus is a very recognizable helmet if you watch the pro peloton. The Whisper Plus was worn by the Cervelo TestTeam during the 2010 pro road cycling season and is the helmet with all the little round holes. But the best thing about the Catlike Whisper Plus bicycling helmet could be its ability to keep your head cool.

SIGG Water Bottle Review

I must be a geek since I watch How It's Made on the Science Channel. Not long after an episode aired about SIGG bottles, there was a knock at my door. A SIGG 1 liter Wide Mouth and a .75 liter SIGG Sports Touch arrived for testing.

CamelBak XLP Hydration Pack Review

Light makes right. At first glance, it was obvious to me "XLP" stands for extra light pack. I found it fills a niche as a performance bag that is aero, comfortable, yet still has room for all your essentials. In addition, the 72 ounce bladder meets all your hydration needs.

Yakima HoldUp Plus 2 Bike Carrier Review

My wife and I love to go biking (who doesn't) and some of the best times we have are biking with another couple.  There is the inevitable problem. HOW ARE WE GOING TO TRANSPORT 4 BIKES WITHOUT TWO CARS OR THROWING THEM IN THE BACK OF THE PICKUP AND SCRATCHING THE %%$#%% OUT OF THEM?

KT Tape Review

I remember the days when the athletic trainer would tape my ankles so tight I thought my feet would fall off from lack of circulation. Then came the fright of tearing it off. I tell people cyclists shave their legs to avoid pain when removing tape. I damn near cry when I pull a band aid off my elbow.
