Grease Monkey Wipes Review

Grease Monkey Wipes bike cleaner.

I am the kind of person that doesn't like to clean my bike. When I do it, it takes me a lot of time because I hit every spot. I found that the Grease Monkey Wipes cleaned effectively and were easy to use.

The packaging had a nice visual appeal and was easy to open. The wipes unfolded into an easy to handle non greasy sheet with a pleasant citrus smell.

The best thing about the wipes is how they worked. I used it on all areas of my bike; the down tube, seat post, chain stays, chain, etc. They cut through the everyday grime exceptionally well and did an excellent job of cleaning the outer surface of the chain.

I used two wipes to clean my bike, one for the tubing and the other for the chain. I tested the wipe I used on the chain on the carbon tubing to see if any streaking of chain grime would transfer, to my surprise it did not. The wipes stood up well, I ran the wipes over the chain a number of times and there wasn't any ripping or tearing.

None of the grime ended up on my hands and did not leave a greasy feel. Clean up was a quick. I feel the Grease Monkey Wipes are perfectly suited as a once a week clean up.
