PSP11

PSP11 is the 100% high grade carbohydrate energy food that is ideal for combining with foods and drinks for carbohydrate loading. It is a slightly lower specification maltodextrin than PSP22, it is 95% glucose polymers with a low maltose content giving it a clean neutral taste. It was introduced when it was recognised that there was a need for a lower specification but high quality glucose polymer based energy fuel. The advantages of PSP22 are only really apparent when taken during exercise, PSP11 is more than adequate for carbohydrate loading and its neutral taste can be regarded as an advantage if it is to be added to other foods etc. It can be used as a very cost effective energy drink though we would always recommend PSP22.
