on US Postal. I have great memories of racing along side of him. He supported me with the strength of two men in the Dauphine Libere in 2000. He was a big factor in my overall victory in the race that year. I'll never forget how hard he rode, and how much work he did to support me there. He was a very talented rider, who surely would have accomplished great things had he not suffered from a hereditary heart condition. His career and life ended far too early.
