Tour de France Comes to the Big Screen
Live HD simulcast in 53 movie theatres across the USA on July 16.
Fans won?t want to miss the chance to watch the top cyclists battle live and uninterrupted in high-definition on the Big Screen as The Tyler Hamilton Foundation hosts a live simulcast of Stage 14 of the 92 nd Tour de France in 51 Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC) movie theatres and 1 Georgia Theatre Company theatre* across the United States. On Saturday, July 16, 2005, beginning simultaneously across all four time zones at 8:30 a.m. ET / 7:30 a.m. CT / 6:30 a.m. MT / 5:30 a.m. PT, the event will showcase one of the race?s most exciting stages : Stage 14 (Agde > Ax-3 Domaines) - a treacherous, 135-mile journey through the Pyrenees Mountains as the cyclists climb over 10,000 feet and struggle to hold or advance their position in the race. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>
Tickets are $20.00 and are available at participating theatre box offices or online at www.BigScreenRaces.com. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Tyler Hamilton Foundation benefiting Multiple Sclerosis and youth cycling, and the Davis Phinney Foundation Supporting Parkinson's Disease Research and Wellness.
