Earlier tonight it was announced that Team BMC Racing has signed has signed both Daniel Oss and Dominik Nerz for the 2013 pro road cycling season.

BMC Racing Team President and General Manager Jim Ochowicz expects Oss and Nerz to become strong and powerful contributors to the pro team in both its classics and Grand Tour campaign next year.

"Daniel (Oss) is qualified to ride all of the early-season classic races and any of the Grand Tours," Ochowicz told Roadcycling.com and added "Dominic (Nerz) is more of a climber and will be equally as productive for the team in some of the Ardennes Classics, as well as the Grand Tours. We're happy to have them joining us for 2013."

Both riders will be moving to Team BMC Racing from Team Liquigas-Cannondale, where they have both played an important part in helping Team Liquigas-Cannondale secure the green points classification jersey in this year's Tour de France.

Oss, 25, won Stage 6 of the 2011 USA Pro Cycling Challenge and has nine top ten finishes to his credit this season, including a ninth place finish in the Milan-San Remo classic. "I'm looking forward to new goals and new experiences," the Italian told Roadcycling.com.

Oss' move to Team BMC Racing will also allow him to reunite with former teammates. "It will also be nice to reunite with two former teammates, Manuel Quinziato and Ivan Santaromita. We're all happy to be back together."

Nerz, 22, was runner-up at Rund um den Finanzplatz in his home country of Germany and finished fifth at GP Miguel Indurain. "I'm so happy about this because I think the BMC Racing Team is the best team of the world," he told Roadcycling.com and added "So for me it's perfect. I hope that I can do one of the Grand Tours next year."
