After the race Henk Vogels was asked about being Robbie?s new team mate and what did he see his role in the team to be for 2005. Vogels replied, ?I?m here to support Robbie and hopefully see him across the line in a few of the Tour stages, just like today.?

Robbie was asked about his new team mates including Gates, Evans and Vogel and said, ?It will be good having the Aussies with me this year.? When asked about the problem with Vogels? new Ridley bike, Robbie replied, (tongue in cheek) ?I set it up for him last night...it?s my fault.?
