Bandage is off!

it. Otherwise, once again in July, I'll be the rider with some of the best form in the World moping around and watching it all unfold on the telly.

And what about Sarah!!!!!! Have to say that good things take time and she has just started to come of age. She has now shown herself to be the best in the World. I think now she'll continue to dominate Womens track cycling over the coming years. Congrats girl, you deserve it.

(And to you too, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>
Doon. You've made us 'groupies' proud!) - Carole.

As for my arms, they're ok. The left one has healed well but the right is not so good and, at some point, will need surgery. I can't quite extend it fully and given that for my post-pro-cycling, pro-golf career, I play left-handed, I'll need to get it fixed. I also have problems with rotation, and even have difficulty putting out my hand to get my change at the supermarket. Not sure when the op will be but most likely after the season. For now, I'm at the gym doing bicep curls with 500g weights, which makes me feel super cool! I've never had big guns but shit, I sure am missing what guns I had. Carole's biceps are bigger than mine so I've gotta work on that so I don't get my arse kicked by her the next time I'm on the top of her 'shitlist'!

PS. Thanks to all the family and friends who wrote in the card Deb sent over. Only just got it today but it was nice to read so many encouraging thoughts.
