Dave's Dogmatic Dribbles

Tour de France Prologue.

The best part of the Prologue for me is that it is the only stage of the Tour de France that I could actually finish! <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>

Congratulations to Fabio Cancellara (Fassa Bortolo) who is in yellow and green. It was an obvious emotional victory for him. He now has one of the greatest memories of his cycling career.

Rogers
took a spill. It looked like he stayed locked into both pedals! His acrobatic roll reminded me of how I was taught to roll during a parachute landing. Bend at the knees, roll on the side of the leg, then hip and shoulder. Glad he?s ok.

Was that a helmet McGee was wearing or a dead armadillo? Julich looked good and Super Mario has already started his fun and frivolity!

I have to admit I was already nail-biting watching Lance come to the finish. He?s ready to make a statement. Actually, the best of both worlds happened. Lance beat the competition that is significant to him and a deserving young rider is wearing yellow!
