Dave's Dogmatic Dribbles
2006 Tour de France: Stage 7 time trial
Cycling is such a great sport. Where else can the last place guy be first? Congrats to Sebastian Joly!
As Gomer used to say, surprise! surprise! surprise! What happened to the best riders? The Americans sucked (except one). Too bad Floyd was forced to change his bike. I don?t think an American was destined to win. The way Landis and Hincapie have been laying low, you expected them to do well. Were they worried about the futbol game or what? I?m embarrassed.
I was feeling sick and even felt worse when I saw Bobby go down. A bad day for the
A bunch of guys ate their Wheaties today. Certainly Honchar did along with Landis, Lang, Rogers, and Larsson who made the top five. The list who didn?t eat their Wheaties is too long. The notables are: Zabriskie, 13th; Hincapie, 24th; and Leipheimer,96th. Did anyone see what anchor Levi was draggin? I think George could take a few minutes off his time if he got rid of those bay windows he wears for sunglasses. Discovery is going to have to be on the attack soon. Oh well, look at the bright side, There are six Americans in the top 100!
A deserved win for Honchar. Old guys can still do it. Win your first stage ever and get to wear yellow. T-Mobile is showing class.
