Can you believe Simeoni attacks today? I know this guy doesn’t like Lance but what is he trying to prove. After he gets a whopping :15 lead, he’s brought back. Lance causes a stir when he stops for a saddle adjustment but everyone calms down. This seems like a good time to break out the champagne. My sources tell me the champagne was made from organically grown grapes…no doping was done to them!

There are some new uniform and bike looks today. The posties are wearing a bit of yellow. They must be proud of the work they have done. Lance’s bike is painted with the “livestrong” theme. I’m not sure if someone mixed a bad batch of paint or what. Lance’s gold helmet seems a bit out of place. The polka dots on Virenque’s bike are cool.
There goes Simeoni again. He’s brought back. There goes Simeoni again. He’s brought back. There goes Simeoni again. Boy, does this guy know how to make friends in the peloton or what.
Everyone is on the Champs Elysees now and Postal has taken their parade lap. Now the action begins. Ten racers have made a break and gain about 40 seconds. They hold it until about 2 laps to go and there’s no doubt the Tour isn’t over yet. Ullrich even leads the peloton to catch the break. Boonen wins the sprint for the stage victory followed by Nazon who won it last year. Alas, T-Mobile didn’t win one stage this year.

Deserving praise and admiration are: Lance Armstrong, Jose Azevedo, Floyd Landis, George Hincapie, Jose Rubiera, Viatcheslav Ekimov, Benjamin Noval, Manuel Beltran, and Pavel Padrnos.
There are 138 other racers who endured the toughest sporting event in the world and finished. History has been made and they were participants in making history. I wish they all could take home a trophy. They rode with passion. Without it, no one can endure. Thanks to all of you and thanks to the fans.
