A daring breakaway by a pair of riders from small teams made a big splash in stage two of the 2010 Tour of Qatar on Monday.
Topsports' Geert Steurs outsprinted Wouter Mol of the Vacansoleil team after the duo broke from the peloton early in the day's 147-kilometer stage.
Steurs finished the stage in three hours, 31 minutes to move up to second in the overall rankings. Mol finished with the same time to seize the gold jersey as the race's overall leader.
