Wouter Mol of the Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team won the Tour of Qatar on Friday.
The Dutchman finished 20th in the sixth and final stage, a 76.7-mile ride. His overall time was 15 hours, 55 minutes and 17 seconds.
Germany's Heinrich Haussler of the Cervelo TestTeam won the silver points jersey while Team Milram's Roger Kluge picked up the blue jersey awarded to the best young rider.
Italian Francesco Chicchi of the Liquigas team won the sixth stage in a sprint, edging out Tyler Farrar of the United States and Juan Jose Haedo of Argentina. Chicchi won the stage in 2 hours, 42 minutes and 29 seconds.
Tom Boonen, the three-time champion in Qatar, finished seventh in the last stage for Quick Step, and 1 minute and 45 seconds behind Mol.
