Team Astana Leads ProTour Rankings

Alberto Contador - Team Astana.

After Alberto Contador’s victory in the Vuelta al País Vasco, The Astana cycling team has become the leader of the current ProTour Team Ranking (April 14, 2008). Astana Cycling Team shares the first place with Team High Road. Team CSC is third, 3 points behind. The ProTour lead reflects the constant and collective performance of Team Astana's riders. Alberto Contador is currently second in the individual ProTour rankings.

The next ProTour event is the Amstel Gold Race (April 20th).
