ZipVit to Power Cervelo TestTeam in 2010 Season

Sports nutritional supplier ZipVit is set to continue its successful partnership with pro peloton outfit Cervelo TestTeam by sponsoring the team for the 2010 season.

Sports nutritional supplier ZipVit is set to continue its successful partnership with pro peloton outfit Cervelo TestTeam by sponsoring the team for the 2010 season, which will begin for the team early next month.

The deal will see ZipVit supply Cervelo TestTeam's male and female riders with all of their energy and recovery products for the season, as well as a complete range of health supplements.

It will be the second season that ZipVit has sponsored Cervelo TestTeam, following a successful association in 2009 during which the team achieved unprecedented results in its first year in competition.

CEO of ZipVit Warren Bailey commented "ZipVit is delighted to sponsor Cervelo TestTeam for the 2010 season. Our products helped the riders to achieve some terrific results last season and I am sure we will see even better this year. Not only are we proud that our products are being used by riders of the calibre of Carlos Sastre, Thor Hushovd and Heinrich Haussler, working closely with the team has allowed us to gather vital data and feedback that has allowed us to improve our products and benefit both the riders and our customers. That work will continue and I can't wait for the season to get started."

Among Cervélo's highlights last year were Thor Hushovd's green jersey and Heinrich Haussler's stage win in the Tour de France, Haussler's stellar performances in the Spring Classics and Kristin Armstrong's UCI Road World Championship Women's Time Trial victory.

Cervélo's women's team also finished their season as Number One in the UCI rankings.
