Saxo Bank rider fell hard on cobblestones during Stage 3 of the 2010 Tour de France.

Luxembourg's Frank Schleck is out of the Tour de France after suffering a broken collarbone in a crash during the third stage on Tuesday, Tour de France organisers said.

The Saxo Bank rider fell heavily on the fourth cobbled sector of the 213 kilometer stage 3 from Wanze, Belgium, some 26 kms from the finish.

Schleck finished fifth overall last year.
