Need to know what you're packing? Need to know what components are lighter? Need to know if that carbon frame weighs less than your teammate's? The Alpine Digital Scale won't leave you hangin!

You don't have to be a pro racer to benefit from this scale. After owning it for a few years, I know I can't do without it. I no longer have to run to the bike shop to figure out which set of wheels are better for climbing. The Alpine Digital bicycle scale helps me determine what parts will be lighter when upgrading. It helps me determine what accessories are lightest to carry on my rides. I switched out a pump, multi tool and a patch kit which took me from 20.48 lbs to 19.7 lbs bike weight. The Alpine helped me make those decisions. This was at no expense. The scale has paid for itself by allowing me to choose lightweight parts on hand rather than purchasing new components. I have also learned manufacturer's listed weights and actual weights vary.

Use is simplistic. Push the on/off button and wait for the scale to read 0.00 without anything on the hook. Stabilize the item to be weighed on the hook.  Press the mode button to display pounds, kilograms, or pound/ounces. The scale gives you an instant final reading in large numbers. There's no waiting for it to neutralize.

No need to worry if your items can't be hung by the hook. An example would be the pumps I weighed. The solution is to hang a bucket, tray, or bag from the hook and zero it out. I then placed my pump (or other odd shaped items) in the bag and saw its weight!

The body of the scale is protected by a thick rubber coating. The top cord is stiff and holds its shape for easy hanging. The stainless steel looking tube serves as both a handle for hand held weighing or clamping to a repair stand. The strength of vinyl coated hook and build quality easily handles the maximum 55 lbs rating. The batteries are included so the scale is ready for use immediately.  They won't go dead because of the built in auto shut off.

The Feedback Sports Alpine Scale is versatile and durable. There are no signs of rust on any metal parts and functions perfectly even after being dropped a few times during a couple years of use. There is no need for a cushioned case. Leave your crude fish scale in the tackle box where it belongs and put the Alpine Scale in your toolbox!
