Dave's Dogmatic Tour de France Dribbles

You may have heard there were communication problems yesterday. Lance has come to the rescue! Radio Shack will be next year’s team sponsor. I wonder who the directeur sportif will be. Call in if you have a clue.

Speaking of Johan, did he take Alberto out behind the woodshed again? He has been a naughty boy by staying with the Schleck brothers instead of helping faltering third place Kloden. Here I go getting all confused again. I have an idea, radio Lance and tell him to bridge the gap to Kloden. Once there, he can lead him to the finish. Let’s look at the replay. Lance catches Kloden, gives him a wave, and rides on by. What the heck? I guess the only thing I can think of is blame Alberto for Lance not picking up Kloden.

I have more breaking news. Cadel won’t win today’s time trial. Hmm, I’m going to pick Cacellara. A sleeper could be Michael Rogers. The Schleck boys will hang on the best they can. Wiggins may have burned up too much from yesterday. One or two from Astana should be in the top five.

OMG, look at Ignatiev go! Wiggens is going faster than expected and fellow bloke Millar is riding hot. Here comes my pick. Cancellara wins!

Damn, we’re having radio problems again and I’ve got it wrong. No surprise there since I’m still confused. I don’t know how he did it, but Alberto clipped Fabian by three seconds. I thought for sure Al would be pacing Kloden. Alberto will probably be in for another whipping tonight. I hope he’s got a thick chamois.

Sorry I have to leave so soon. I’m off to Radio Shack to buy a remote controlled cyclist.
